§ 53. Captain ORMSBY-GORE
asked the Prime Minister whether any decision has been come to with regard to the disposition of the island of Cyprus?
§ Captain ORMSBY-GORE
Has the right hon. Gentleman seen the report in the papers that it has been decided to cede Cyprus, and will he take steps to contradict that statement?
§ Mr. BONAR LAW
I think that it has already been contradicted. It is right to say nothing so important as that would be done by the Government in such a way as to commit us in any way without the knowledge of the House of Commons?
