HC Deb 29 July 1919 vol 118 cc1908-9
46. Mr. CLOUGH

asked the Prime Minister whether any steps have been taken to convey to the Russian people that, although the present international situation prevented Russia from partici- pating in the Peace celebrations of last Saturday, there is none the less, on the part of the British public, a keen appreciation of the invaluable services rendered by Russia to the Allies in 1914, 1915, and 1916; and, if not, will he consider whether such steps can be taken?

Mr. BONAR LAW (Leader of the House)

Statements of the nature indicated have been made from time to time on behalf of His Majesty's Government, and I do not think any further action is required.
