HC Deb 21 July 1919 vol 118 cc912-3
Sir J. D. REES

asked the Pensions Minister whether he is aware that Gunner A. C. Lee, No. 283702, Royal Garrison Artillery, who was discharged in May, 1918, partially disabled, has written repeatedly to the Superintendent, Pension Issue Office, London, concerning his pension, payment of which is six weeks in arrears, and can obtain neither answer nor pension; and, if so, will he ensure speedy attention to this undisputed claim?

Sir WORTHINGTON-EVANS

Payment of the pension was suspended because a life certificate sent to Mr. Lee was not returned; but pension has now been issued without life certificate, and a letter of explanation was sent to Mr. Lee, enclosing a duplicate life certificate for completion.
