HC Deb 16 July 1919 vol 118 c384
70. Lieut.-Col. MEYSEY-THOMPSON

asked the Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that dissatisfaction exists at the delay in issuing the medal for the European War; and whether this medal will shortly be issued to all the men who are clearly entitled to it?

Mr. CHURCHILL

It is hoped very shortly to issue the Army Order authorising the grant of this medal with permission to wear the riband. I have signed the necessary papers issuing the Order to-day, so that it will be possible for the men to wear it on Saturday.
