§ The PARLIAMENTARY SECRETARY to the MINISTRY of PENSIONS (Colonel Sir James Craig)I have been asked to reply to this question. The total amount paid in pensions, including treatment and training allowances, but exclusive of the cost of treatment and administrative expenses for the week ending 5th July, 1919, was, approximately, £1,330,000. I am informed by my right hon. Friend the 392 Minister of Labour that the amount spent in out-of-work donation for the same period was, approximately, £820,000.
