36. Lieut. - Colonel ARCHERSHEEasked the Secretary for War why an officer who has been demobilised and who is drawing a wound pension from the Army funds, and is also drawing a disability pension from the Ministry of Pensions, is not allowed to have the whole of his pension consolidated and transferred to the Ministry of Pensions, more especially in view of the fact that the Pension Ministry pay the bonus?
§ Mr. FORSTERThe wound pension must be separately charged in the public accounts, but I will consider whether the officer cannot draw the two payments in one sum in future.
