Lieut.-Colonel ARCHER-SHEEasked whether a soldier who deserted from the Territorials in 1915 and immediately re-enlisted in a Service battalion under the impression that he would be sent to France earlier, and who was brought before his commanding officer on the charge of desertion, the case being dismissed, is entitled to receive a full gratuity for his service when he is demobilised?
