§ Mr. BRIDGEMANThe number of business names registered to the end of April, 1919, in respect of businesses in which an unnaturalised alien is sole proprietor or in which such an alien is a partner is 8,312. The number is in excess of the actual number of aliens upon the register as the same alien is in some cases the proprietor of or a partner in more than one business in respect of which registration has been affected.
