HC Deb 14 July 1919 vol 118 cc36-7
75. Mr. DENISON-PENDER

asked the Prime Minister whether he will afford this House an early opportunity to discuss the question of cable delays, in view of its importance to this country in its trade competition with foreign countries?

Mr. BONAR LAW

An opportunity for this discussion will be afforded on Thursday next, when the Post Office Vote is taken.

Mr. DENISON-PENDER

Will it be possible to discuss cable delays in all parts of the world on the Post Office Vote?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I think, with a little ingenuity, that would be possible.
