HC Deb 11 July 1919 vol 117 c2149
Mr. TYSON WILSON

I desire to ask when it is proposed to take the Second Reading of the Coal Mines Bill?

Lord E. TALBOT(Joint Parliamentary Secretary to the Treasury)

The Government propose on Monday to move the suspension of the Standing Order, which forbid other business than Supply being taken on the same day. If the House agree to that Motion we shall put the Coal Mines Bill down as the Second Order, and if the discussion of Supply finish in time, we shall take the Second Reading on Monday.
