50. Sir F. HALLasked the Prime Minister what arrangements will be made to enable men serving in the Navy and Army and the Air Force to celebrate the official Peace Day, 19th July; and if he will consider as to the practicability of giving some preference as regards entrance on Peace Day to places of entertainment to men who have served, and are now serving, in the fighting forces of the Crown?
§ Mr. BONAR LAWI understand that arrangements are being made whereby leave will be granted to all men of the fighting forces on as extensive a scale as possible. As regards the latter part of the question, His Majesty's Government have no powers in the matter.
