§ Mr. FORSTERIn the absence of particulars of length of service, age, etc., I am unable to state whether this soldier will come under the terms of the instructions recently issued providing for the early release of all men who are eligible for demobilisation. If he is not so eligible his case may come under the Rules governing releases on compassionate grounds, and on receipt of a certified statement giving the full facts and particulars, the case will be fully considered. I am sending my Noble Friend a copy of the instructions on the subject for his guidance.
