HC Deb 09 July 1919 vol 117 cc1792-3
60. Sir HARRY BRITTAIN

asked the Prime Minister whether it has been found possible to secure attendance during the Peace celebrations of representatives of the forces of our Continental Allies; and, if so, from which countries units may be expected?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am glad that it has been possible to arrange for the representation of the Allies during Peace celebrations as my hon. Friend suggested. A full statement on the subject appeared in the Press yesterday.

Sir H. BRITTAIN

Is there any likelihood that the troops of our French Ally may be accompanied to this country by their great leader, Marshal Foch?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am afraid that is not possible.
