asked the Prime Minister whether he intends to give effect to the recommendations in the first.Report this Session of the Select Committee on National Expenditure?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The recommendations of the Committee are receiving the consideration of the Chancellor of the Exchequer.

Mr. BILLING

As it is a question of the success of the War Loan would the right hon. Gentleman postpone making any disclosures till it is over?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am not so sure of that. Examination would, I think, show that those figures are exaggerated.
