Lieutenant-Colonel ALLENasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, when considering the question of granting officers war gratuities without deducting Income Tax therefrom, he will also consider the question of abolishing Income Tax on pay and pensions of all officers in His Majesty's Forces as a permanent memorial to their courage and devotion to duty in the great War of 1914–18?
