HC Deb 27 February 1919 vol 112 c1962
Mr. BILLING

May I ask you, Sir, on a point of Order, whether, having regard to the increased number of Members of the House, you will consider the advisability of including the cross benches in places from which one may address the Chair? Coming late, as one occasionally has to do, it is almost impossible to get a seat to ask a question.

Mr. SPEAKER

I should not like to make any change in what has been the time-honoured arrangement ever since the House was built. I think it will very soon be found that the pressure will be relieved.
