HC Deb 17 February 1919 vol 112 c538
70. Mr. KENNEDY JONES

asked the Prime Minister whether, before the Peace Conference promulgates its conclusions as a whole, he can arrange for the publication of the Reports of the Commissions sitting to consider delegated subjects so as to test public sentiment in advance in this and other Allied countries?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I do not think it would be practicable to adopt the course suggested by my hon. Friend, but the Government fully recognise the necessity of the House and the country being kept in touch with proceedings of the Conference, and to as great an extent as is possible this will be done.

Mr. BILLING

Is a verbatim report of every word uttered by the various representatives at the Conference being kept, and is it proposed to publish it?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I hope not.
