The House met at Twelve of the Clock, Mr. Speaker in the Chair.

The Gentleman Usher of the Black Rod (Admiral Sir Henry Stephenson, G.C.V.O., K.C.B.) was announced.

Addressing Mr. Speaker, the Gentleman Usher said: The King commands this Honourable House to attend His Majesty immediately in the House of Peers.

MR. SPEAKER, accompanied by Rt. Hon. A. Bonar Law, Rt. Hon. William Adamson, Rt. Hon. Sir Donald Maclean, and other Members went to the House of Lords.

On their return, the Sitting was suspended until Ten Minutes before Four of the Clock, and then resumed.
