§ The PRIME MINISTERThe negotiations with M. Litvinoff are confined to the exchange of prisoners, and I regret that I am not yet in a position to make a detailed statement as to their course. An announcement will, however, be made when the issue of the negotiations with M. Litvinoff is decided, and Papers dealing fully with the subject will be laid as soon as it is practicable to do so.
Lieut.-Colonel MALONEWill the right hon. Gentleman give an assurance that, whether or not these negotiations succeed, arrangements are being made to supply food and clothes to these prisoners in the forthcoming winter?
