§ 13. Mr. LUNNasked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the profits made by the tobacco trusts and the threatened increase in prices, he will take the necessary steps to bring tobacco and cigarettes under the scope of the Profiteering Act?
§ Sir A. GEDDESA Committee appointed by the Standing Committee on Trusts established under the Profiteering Act is at present investigating tobacco. The question of any further action will be considered when the Report of this Committee has been received.
