HC Deb 01 December 1919 vol 122 cc13-4
22. Mr. WADDINGTON

asked the Minister of Transport if he will provide in any increase of railway rates or charges that no preference shill be created for foreign produce of any kind, and, where any such preference already exists, that it shall be annulled when such revision of rates takes place?

Sir E. GEDDES

It is impossible at this stage for me to say more than that when the systematic revision of railway rates and charges is undertaken, the basis of all existing rates will be carefully reviewed in the light of all relevant considerations.
