REESasked the Secretary of State for India whether he is aware that officers of the Indian Police in presidencies and provinces are not yet enjoying the benefit of the improved scale sanctioned as from 1st January, 1919, be cause the local accountants-general have not yet had instructions to pay the higher rates; and whether he will now cause the necessary action to be taken in this behalf?
