WILSONasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department whether he can now state if the Advisory Committee have considered the question of granting a permit to take up a street collection en route in connection with a demonstration to be organised by the League of the Blind in Hyde Park on 17th August?
§ The SECRETARY of STATE for the HOME DEPARTMENT (Mr. Shortt)The matter has been further considered by the Advisory Committee with the result that a permit has now been granted subject to compliance with the Regulations, which require, inter alia, that all collectors should occupy stationary positions on the footway.
