HC Deb 13 August 1919 vol 119 c1298
75. Major LLOYD GREAME

asked the Secretary for War what stocks of timber are held in reserve by the War Office; and what steps he proposes to take to make these stocks available for civilian purposes?

Mr. FORSTER

All surplus stocks both at home and in France have been declared to the Surplus Disposal Board for disposal.

Major GREAME

Can the right lion. Gentleman state the amount available for disposal in that way?

Mr. FORSTER

I will have the figures got out and sent to the hon. Member, or if he will put down a question I will give-him the information in that way. I cannot give them at the moment.
