§ 2. Lieut.-Commander KENWORTHYasked the Secretary for Foreign Affairs whether he has any information to the effect that certain American merchant ships, laden with foodstuffs, are on their way to Petrograd; and, if so, whether they will be allowed to pass whatever Government is in power at Petrograd when they arrive in the Eastern Baltic?
Mr. HARMSWORTHThe attention of the Foreign Office had already been called to the report which forms the subject of the hon. and gallant Member's question, but so far no confirmation of it has been forthcoming. I cannot, at present, answer the second part of the question.
