Mr. WATERSONasked the President of the Board of Trade if he is aware that an order given by the Co-operative Wholesale Society on 11th October, 1918, was refused by the Wool Textile Produc- 368 tion Committee at Bradford and passed on to the Standard Cloth (Worsted) Committee; can he state whether this Committee is now in a position to fulfil the order; is he aware that the substitute for the cloth that was released on the understanding that a similar material would be issued is of an inferior quality; and will he prosecute inquiries as to this breach of faith which is a detriment to the firm concerned?
