Mr. SITCHasked the Prime Minister whether at any time during the War the War Cabinet had definitely resolved upon a policy of State purchase and public control of the liquor trade; if so, whether in the interval the considerations which induced them to adopt this policy have lost anything of their force; and, if not, whether it may be assumed that the Government are still prepared at the appropriate moment to give effect to this policy?
