HC Deb 10 April 1919 vol 114 cc2205-6
33. Brigadier-General COLVIN

asked the President of the Board of Trade whether, in view of the proposed importations into this country of German-grown beet sugar in part payment of the war indemnity, adequate protection will be afforded to sugar growers in the British Colonies?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

I would refer the hon. and gallant Member to the reply which the Under-Secretary of State for the Colonies gave on 10th March to a question addressed to him by the hon. Member for Newcastle North.
