Ordered, That the Lords Message [8th April] relating to the appointment of a Joint Committee on Government Works at Cippenham be now considered.—[Lord Edmund Talbot.]

Lords Message considered accordingly.

Ordered, That a Select Committee of Five Members be appointed to join with a Committee to be appointed by the Lords to inquire into the conditions under which the Government works at Cippenham are being carried out, the cost that is involved, and the responsibility for the advice on which the scheme was undertaken.—[Lord Edmund Talbot.]

Message to the Lords to acquaint them therewith.

Mr. Britton, Sir Joseph Davies, Mr. Davison, Mr. Hogge, and Mr. Gershom Stewart nominated Members of the Select Committee.
