HC Deb 09 April 1919 vol 114 cc2008-9
17. Viscount CURZON

asked if any decision has been arrived at with regard to Keyham College; and if it is proposed to continue the entry of public school cadets into the Royal Navy?

Dr. MACNAMARA

Yes, Sir. It has been decided that Keyham shall revert to its original use as an engineering college in October next. A further examination for the entry of special entry cadets will be held in June next, when fifteen places will be offered. The question of continuing this scheme of entry subsequently is still under consideration, but if it is decided to do so, other arrangements for the cadet accommodation will have to be made.
