§ 45. Mr. HIGHAMasked the Prime Minister if, in view of the Report of the Committee appointed to inquire into the organising and staffing of Government Departments, that the efficiency of the Departments of overseas trade could be increased if the limitations as regards staff and accommodation, which have heretofore unavoidably prevailed, could be removed, he will take steps to see that this most necessary of Departments should not be handicapped in any manner, particularly in view of the fact of their great usefulness to the traders of this country?
