HC Deb 07 April 1919 vol 114 c1642
16. Mr. GILBERT

asked the President of the Board of Trade when it is proposed to withdraw the present regulations of control over the supply of gas and electric lighting in London and district; and if he can make any statement on the subject?

Mr. BRIDGEMAN

The question of suspending the present control of gas and electricity during the coming summer months is engaging the attention of the Controller of Coal Mines, and a definite decision in the matter will be reached about the close of the present month.
