HC Deb 03 April 1919 vol 114 c1369
47. Sir K. WOOD

asked the Prime Minister whether under the present law drillers and turners and butchers can and are performing dental operations; whether the recent Departmental Committee on the Dentists Act has reported that other gross abuses have been associated with the practice of dentistry; and whether he proposes to introduce legislation prohibiting the practice of dentistry by persons not registered?

Mr. BONAR LAW

As I informed my hon. Friend in answer to a previous question, the Report is being considered by the Government, but no decision has yet been reached in regard to it.
