HC Deb 03 April 1919 vol 114 cc1389-90
93. Mr. STURROCK

asked the Parliamentary Secretary to the Board of Agriculture if he will state how many Govern- ment demonstration dairy farms it is proposed to establish; and how many of them, will be situated in Scotland?

Sir A. BOSCAWEN

It is proposed to establish ten demonstration dairy farms, and the scheme which I announced on the 17th March in answer to a question put to me by my hon. and gallant Friend the Member for Horncastle, applies to England and Wales only. The question of undertaking a similar scheme in Scotland is, of course, one for the Board of Agriculture for Scotland.
