HC Deb 03 April 1919 vol 114 c1358
1. Lieutenant-Colonel MALONE

asked the Secretary of State for Foreign Affairs whether any changes are contemplated in the Consular posts at Paris and Antwerp?

Sir A. STEEL-MAITLAND (Department of Overseas Trade)

Mr. Hearn, His Majesty's Consul-General at Paris, will shortly retire from the Consular Service, and will be succeeded by Mr. Maxse, His Majesty's Consul-General at Rotterdam, who has rendered service of the highest value throughout the War. No change is at present contemplated at Antwerp.
