HORNESince the beginning of this year 3,204 new vacancies have been notified to the Appointments Department, but I regret that I am unable to give the number of employers who have registered these) vacancies without communicating with the Department's local offices. I am arranging, however, to obtain this information, and will send it to the hon. Member. With regard to the last part of the question, 7,883 ex-officers and men of similar qualifications are now on the list of those immediately available for appointment.
