HC Deb 03 April 1919 vol 114 c1395
Captain LOSEBY (by Private Notice)

asked the Lord Privy Seal whether he can yet say when he proposes to set up the Select Committee on the Administration, of Pensions in accordance with the promise he gave to the hon. Member for Salford (South) in November last?

Mr. BONAR LAW

The Committee referred to will be set up immediately in accordance with the promise given by me in the last Parliament, and the House will, I am sure, understand that the setting up of this Committee does not indicate any doubt as to the efficiency of the Pensions Ministry. On the contrary, the Government are satisfied that the very difficult problems connected with this Ministry are being dealt with expeditiously and efficiently by my right hon. Friend and his Department.
