§ Mr. SHORTTThe Disabled Sailors and Soldiers Compensation Committee, which reported last year, recommended that certain arrangements should be made with insurance companies and others by which employers would be indemnified against any increased liability under the Workmen's Compensation Act arising from the employment of disabled men. The nature of these arrangements is summarised on pages 7 and 8 of their Report. As stated in reply to the hon. Member for West Woolwich on the 20th February last, His Majesty's Government have approved the adoption of arrangements on these lines, and the necessary legislation will be introduced at an early date.
