Captain GUESTFour hundred and twenty-three locomotives owned by British railway companies are still retained in France, and thirty-six locomotives have been returned to date. The remainder are being returned as they can be released, and as speedily as trans-Channel facilities 1070 permit. There are in addition 786 locomotives in France which are the property of the War Department.
