Brigadier-General COCKERILLasked the President of the Local Government Board whether, in connection with any general scheme of housing and town-planning, he will consider the advisability of providing a sufficient supply of houses specially designed to meet the requirements of disabled men, e.g., provided with lifts, etc., and, in appropriate cases, grouped as garden cities, so as to afford such men the fullest possible amenities in their home life and easy access to their work?
