HC Deb 31 October 1918 vol 110 cc1618-9
38. Mr. KING

asked the President of the Board of Education whether he is aware that the Order made by the Board on 8th August fixing appointed days for certain Clauses of the Education Act, 1918, is not published as a Parliamentary Paper or obtainable by purchase; and whether, in view of public ignorance of the operative portions of the Act, he will issue in an accessible form some instructions or information on this matter?

Mr. FISHER

I am obliged to my hon. Friend for calling my attention to this matter. Wide publicity was given to the Order through the Press and by circulation to local education authorities, but I will arrange for it to be placed on sale.
