MASONasked the Chancellor of the Exchequer whether, in view of the fact that the large and continuous increase in the issue of Treasury currency notes accentuates and increases the cost of living, which in turn leads to strikes and unrest throughout the country, His Majesty's Government will take steps to contract these issues by the gradual redemption of these notes?
