25. Mr. EDMUND HARVEYasked the Postmaster-General whether he can state the steps which have been taken to apply the principles of the Whitley Report to the Post Office service?
The POSTMASTER-GENERAL (Mr. Ilingworth)I would refer my hon. Friend to the answer given by the Minister of Labour on the 13th instant to a question by the hon. Member for York on the subject of the application of the Whitley Report to Government Departments.
§ Mr. ILLINGWORTHCertainly. It is a very complicated subject.
Mr. HARVEYIn view of the great interest which is taken in this subject throughout the country will the right hon. Gentleman issue a White Paper on the subject at an early date?
§ Mr. ILLINGWORTHI am afraid that I cannot undertake to do that at present. I hope to have a complete scheme before long
