§ Mr. FORSTERNo, Sir; that bonus relates to permanent clerks who serve on rates of pay fixed before the War. It does not apply to these women clerks, who have been engaged during the War at various rates. Authority was, however, recently given to local offices to revise within certain limits the rates of pay of temporary employés of this class.
