§ 49. Mr. MACMASTERasked the Prime Minister if His Majesty's Government will insist, as a preliminary condition of entering into any peace conference, on the immediate release and return of all prisoners of war or interned persons now detained in Germany or under German control elsewhere; and, in the alternative, will he say whether provision has been made for the fulfilment of this condition in connection with the armistice itself?
