HC Deb 12 November 1918 vol 110 cc2474-5
11. Colonel Lord HENRY CAVENDISH-BENTINCK

asked the Under-Secretary of State for War whether he is aware that Farrier John Johnson, No. 8282, Army Service Corps, aged forty-nine, Category B2, who was invalided home from Salonika as unfit for further service, after severe attacks of malaria and rheumatism, is now serving in France and sleeping under canvas; and whether, in view of his age and low medical category, he would make arrangements to send this man home, where employment is waiting for him?

Mr. MACPHERSON

I am making inquiry in this case and will write to my Noble Friend as soon as I am in a position to do so.
