§ The CHIEF SECRETARY for IRELAND (Mr. Shortt)The total amount distributed to secondary schools in Ireland in the financial year ended 31st March, 1918, from the Parliamentary Grant of £50,000 was £49,952 7s. 9d. This sum was distributed in accordance with Rules made by His Excellency the Lord Lieutenant on 13th March, 1918, and referred to in Parliamentary Paper Cd. 8929 of 1918.
