HC Deb 05 November 1918 vol 110 c1932
80. Mr. DILLON

asked the Minister of Reconstruction whether boring for coal is being made in Ireland in accordance with his directions; and, if so, whether he can give any information on the subject?

Dr. ADDISON

I have arranged, after consultation with my right hon. Friend the Chief Secretary for Ireland, that boring for coal in the Loch Neagh district in Ireland shall be carried out under the supervision of the Mineral Resources Branch of the Ministry of Munitions. Operations will commence as soon as the requisite tubing can be obtained.
