HC Deb 04 November 1918 vol 110 c1788
52. Mr. WRIGHT

asked the Prime Minister whether he will give a day for the discussion by the House of the agreement of 10th September, 1918, between the Minister of Munitions and Messrs. S. Pearson and Son, Limited, by which is involved the expenditure of £1,000,000 of public money and the grant of a virtual monopoly of prospecting, boring, recovering, and refining of oil in Great Britain, and which has not been submitted to the House for approval?

Mr. BONAR LAW

I am not prepared to give a day for the discussion of this subject, which can be raised on the Vote of Credit.
