§ Any person who after the appointed day, being the owner or having the control of a stallion of a prescribed age, travels it for service, or exhibits it at any market or Show or in any public place, or permits it to be so travelled or exhibited, shall be liable on summary conviction to a fine not exceeding twenty pounds unless the stallion is at the time licensed under this Act.
§ THE PRESIDENT OF THE BOARD OF AGRICULTURE (Mr. Prothero)I beg to move to leave out the words "at any market or show or in any public place," and to insert instead thereof the words "on any premises not in his occupation with a view to its use for service." The object of this Amendment is to limit the proposal in the direction asked for by the hon. Member for the College Division of Glasgow (Mr. Watt).
